Bobby Buka, MD, JD

A graduate of the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Dr. Buka completed an internship in internal medicine at Saint Vincent's Hospital in New York City. He then completed a dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego and a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Children's Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Buka holds a law degree from Fordham University in New York City and speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Buka's particular expertise is in vascular lasers, skin cancer, and acne. He speaks at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology on topics ranging from complex eczema to techniques in dermatologic surgery. His articles have been published in dermatology and plastic surgery textbooks as well as a number of medical research journals.

Amy Spizuoco, DO

Dr. Amy Spizuoco is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist.  She received her Bachelor of Arts at SUNY Binghamton with a double major in Italian and Biology. And earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a medical internship at Lutheran Medical Center. She then went on to Alta Dermatology Residency Program in Mesa, Arizona where she spent a year researching Reflectance Confocal Microscopy, and subsequently completed her dermatology residency. During residency she received training at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale as well as Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She was named Chief Resident in her last year of residency.

After residency, Dr. Spizuoco completed a fellowship in dermatopathology.

Currently Dr. Spizuoco is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatopatholgy, the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.

Libby Rhee, DO

Dr. Libby Rhee completed her dermatology residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, NY. She is a Michigan native and received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Kalamazoo College followed by her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Rhee is passionate about dermatology outreach and education both domestically and abroad. She is an active volunteer for the American Academy of Dermatology’s Camp Discovery for children affected with chronic skin conditions. Throughout residency she worked in conjunction with the AAD on a Navajo Reservation in Arizona, participated in a dermatologic medical mission in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, and also spent time at Israel’s Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Her philosophy for skin care is simple: it should be easy, intelligent, and safe, and help you feel great not only on the outside but on the inside as well.

Fitzgeraldo A. Sanchez, MD

Dr. Sánchez completed his medical training at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, and during that time he completed research projects at the University of Puerto Rico and at the Wellman Laboratories of Photo-Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. His Dermatology residency was completed at the world renowned Skin and Cancer Unit at New York University, one of the oldest dermatology departments in the U.S.A and arguably one of the best in the world. Dr. Sánchez also completed fellowships in melanoma research (Laboratory Medicine) and dermatopathology at the Mayo Clinic Graduate Medical School in Rochester, MN and at SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY (Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology). He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, reviews articles for the American Journal of Dermatopathology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Sánchez is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Health Care Finance Committee, the Puerto Rico Dermatological Society, the Paul O’Leary Society and Alumni Society of the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Sánchez also represents the American Academy of Dermatology at the AMA/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) which deals with reimbursements from Medicare. He is well versed in English and Spanish and is very enthusiastic about serving all our patients and local communities.

Kara Hartmann, PA-C

Kara Hartmann is a board certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA with a Master's of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.  She completed her Bachelors of Science in Biobehavioral Health from The Pennsylvania State University. She is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Kara has had extensive training in the diagnosis of skin cancer as well as Mohs surgery and reconstruction while working in the West Palm Beach area in Florida.  As part of her clinical medical education, she studied overseas in South Africa where she provided medical and surgical care to underserved areas. Kara takes pride in offering excellent patient care and has a particular interest in skin cancer and dermatologic surgery, including laser and photo therapy. 

Christopher Busapavanij, PA-C

Chris Busapavanij received his Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and his undergraduate degree at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. He received clinical training in multiple hospitals and doctor's offices throughout Pennsylvania, and since 2005, he has been an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Baokim Bonelli, PA-C

Baokim Bonelli graduated from Stony Brook University with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. She received clinical training in multiple hospitals and private practices in Queens and Long Island, including elective training in general dermatology and Mohs surgery. Her experiences have fostered her passion for dermatology, leading her to a profession within the field. Prior to that, she received the Leadership Scholarship from the University of Connecticut and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology. As a Medical Technologist, she gained experience in the fields of Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology. Baokim is currently an active member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and New York Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
